Mobile is King of Search

shutterstock_252743248More searches happen on mobile than on computers and tablets for 15 of the 24 hours during a typical weekday. The heaviest traffic happens before and after the work day . Of course, weekends are owned by mobile.  Keep in mind that only 68% of American Adults own smartphones and  84% of U.S. households own a computer, of which 73% have a  broadband connection. It is certainly proof positive that mobile is growing fast and will soon dominate search.  So, Google thinks we should be considering Dayparting as an important metric in understanding when consumers expect brands to be front and present.  Consider this when setting your ad word budget and adjust your messaging for time of day.  Click here for the full article by Lisa GevelberVP, Americas Marketing, Google
